OVERVIEW|| DATES & COSTS || ITINERARY || LEADERS || APPLY || TESTIMONIALS

April 22nd-May 4th, 2012 – Participants need to arrive in Chengdu before 5pm on the day on April 22nd. We will meet you at the Chengdu airport and escort you to your hotel. The workshop will begin the following morning.  The tour officially ends the evening of the of May 4th.  Keep in mind we will be meeting up the evening of the 22nd in Chengdu for a quick bite to eat plus an important meet and greet.

A Workshop and a Tour – What is a workshop and a tour together? Great question!  We like to consider this workshop as a ‘photo tour with a strong teaching element‘.  Most of the teaching will be done on the field in an organic fashion – we will have some specific teaching areas we will cover as well.  Also, we will have reviews and teachings most evenings to cover events from the day and to prepare for the next.  However, we understand that you will want to get lost in the endless alleyways of Lhasa and wander around monasteries to find your own adventures.  Their will be no ‘flag-totting tour guide following‘ whatsoever.  We’ve built time in for everyone and those who want one-on-one time with the instructors will get it.  Those who want to simply shoot will get it.  We’ve built the tour around flexibility, community, discussion, freedom and your ability to learn what you want from our instructors while also having the opportunity to shoot what you want.

Total cost is $4950* USD - Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to Chengdu, but we take care of the rest from there. Send us an email if you have any questions or need more information on best flights and travel arrangements.
